Team Goatcher Racing's interactive race results platform is now live. Switchpoint Software Design is the team's technology partner and sponsor, building the digital platform that is raising the standard for how jet ski racing is presented, followed and sponsored.

Today the full interactive race results platform for Team Goatcher Racing went live. Every documented finish from every rider on the team, official class standings from the world's biggest personal watercraft events, and a live countdown to the next race now sit in one place, built to be explored on a phone at the water's edge or on a laptop back at the shop. It is the latest release in a digital platform that Switchpoint Software Design builds, runs and backs as the team's technology partner and sponsor.

We are proud to say it plainly: Team Goatcher Racing is the key organisation Switchpoint sponsors. Our commitment is not a logo on a hull and a thank-you post. It is the engineering, design and AI tooling behind the team's entire online presence, delivered with the same standards we bring to the commercial platforms we build for clients. The goal is bigger than one team. We want to help raise the standard of how jet ski racing is presented as a professional sport.

Who Team Goatcher Racing are

Team Goatcher Racing is a closed course jet ski racing team rooted in Lake Havasu, the spiritual home of the sport. Its founder, Harry "Haulin' Harry" Goatcher, began his professional racing career in the late 1980s, competing through the sport's golden era alongside organisations like L&S Engineering. After years away from the water he came back, not just to race, but to build a team that carries the sport forward. You can read his story on the team's legacy page.

The roster spans generations and classes. There are junior riders such as Travis "Turbo" Billings in the 10-12 Lites divisions, a young rider whose results already include class wins at the IJSBA World Finals and the Pro Watercross Series Final. There are Sport Spec and 1100 Modified racers, Vintage X2 competitors, and Master and Grand Master riders who have been on the water for decades. The team creed is short: Together We Win. That idea, riders, crew, families and partners all pulling in the same direction, is exactly why a technology partnership fits so naturally.

What went live today: interactive race results

Racing results have traditionally lived in scattered places: a PDF release from a sanctioning body, a social post, a photo of a printed sheet taped to a trailer. Fans and sponsors had to work hard to see how a rider was actually performing. The new events and results hub changes that. It brings the information together and makes it something people want to explore.

Every team result in one feed

The team results feed lists each documented finish with the position, the rider and their race number, the event and the class. Podiums stand out at a glance. A visitor can see in seconds that Travis Billings took P1 in the 2026 World Finals Young Guns Junior 4-Stroke Slalom, that Louie Venditto finished second in Vintage X2 at the 2026 SBT IJSBA World Finals, or that Ron Benfield placed second in Master Ski Modified 1500 at the 2024 World Finals. Each name links through to a full rider profile, so a single result becomes the start of a story rather than a line in a table.

Official class standings, explorable by class

Alongside the team's own results, the hub carries full class standings from the major events. The 2025 IJSBA World Finals standings cover the 44th annual event, held October 4 to 12, 2025 at Crazy Horse Campground and Resort in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The 2026 IHRA World Cup standings cover the event at Lake Havasu in September 2026. Visitors pick a class, from Junior Ski 13-15 Lites to Pro Runabout GP, and the full field appears with position, race number, rider, machine and points.

Team Goatcher riders are highlighted in the standings. That small detail matters. It lets a fan, a parent or a prospective sponsor see a rider's result in the context of the whole field, which is the honest way to present performance. A tenth place in a deep junior class at the World Finals reads very differently when you can see who finished around it.

The season ahead, counting down

The platform also looks forward. The 2027 Wild West Watercross calendar is published round by round, from Lake Buena Vista in Bakersfield in April to Sparks Marina in Nevada in August, and the home page carries a live countdown to the next race. For a team that depends on partner support, a clear, public schedule is a commercial asset: sponsors can plan activations, families can plan travel and fans know where to be.

More than a results page: the full digital platform

Results are the headline today, but they sit inside a complete platform designed around how a modern racing team actually operates. It is a practical example of what we describe on our page for AI software for racing team technology platforms: one system that serves riders, fans, media and sponsors at the same time.

  • Rider profiles for every racer, with race number, classes, personal story and results, so each athlete has a professional page they can share with sponsors.
  • A partner directory where every sponsor has its own page explaining what it does and how to support it, from performance parts suppliers to the local taco truck.
  • A partnership offer for the 2027 season, setting out on-water branding, digital and social promotion, and media coverage in a format that prospective sponsors can act on.
  • A team newsroom with race reports, rider features and behind-the-scenes stories, structured for search so the team is discoverable when people look for jet ski racing news.
  • The team film and legacy archive, telling the story of where the team came from and inviting the racing community to contribute photos and memories from the golden era.
  • Privacy-first analytics and consent, so the team understands its audience without compromising visitors' choices.

Every page is built for mobile first, because that is where racing audiences live. Parents check results between motos. Sponsors open a rider's link from a text message. Fans follow along from the shoreline. A platform that only works well on a desktop misses most of the moments that matter.

Why accuracy is the foundation

One principle shaped the build more than any other: never invent a result. Team results come from the team's own documents and rider media kits. Class standings come from the official releases. Where a detail such as points or a moto breakdown has not been supplied, the platform leaves it out rather than guessing. The team's own race reports are explicit about this, and we think that discipline is part of raising the standard of the sport online.

It is also the same discipline we apply to client work. When we build AI data platforms and enrichment systems, the value comes from data people can trust. Racing is no different. A sponsor deciding whether to back a rider, or a journalist writing up a World Finals, needs to know the numbers are real. Credibility compounds, and so does the damage when it is lost.

How AI-built software made this possible

Switchpoint Software Design is an AI software development company that builds production software using AI-accelerated engineering. That approach is why a racing team can have a platform with the depth usually reserved for a factory-backed operation. Work that used to take months, such as structuring years of results, building rider and partner pages, and producing search-ready editorial content, can be delivered in weeks without cutting corners on quality.

Structuring messy racing data

Racing information arrives in every format imaginable: official release tables, spreadsheets, media kits, social captions and handwritten notes from the pit. Part of the work is turning that into a clean, consistent structure of events, classes, riders, positions and machines, so it can be filtered, highlighted and linked. This is the same pattern behind our custom AI software development projects in very different industries.

Built to be found

A great results platform is wasted if nobody finds it. The site is structured with clean page hierarchy, descriptive metadata and search-friendly content, so rider names, event names and class results can surface when people search for them. Our work on AI SEO platforms and AI search visibility for commercial clients informs how the team's news and results are written and organised.

Operated, not just launched

Launch day is the beginning. As the 2027 season unfolds, new results, rider stories and partner announcements flow into the platform. Our role is ongoing: maintaining the system, adding features as the team grows and making sure the platform keeps pace with the racing.

Raising the standard for jet ski racing

Jet ski racing is one of the most spectacular forms of motorsport anywhere. Riders take off over rollers, carve through buoys at speed and race shoulder to shoulder on water that changes every lap. Yet compared with car racing or motocross, the sport's digital presence has often lagged behind the action. Results are hard to find, rider stories go untold and sponsors struggle to measure what their support delivers.

We believe better technology can help close that gap. Our page on AI software for jet ski & watercraft racing sets out the problems we see across the sport: results trapped in PDFs, scoring that is hard to follow, sponsor value that is difficult to prove, and teams running on spreadsheets and group chats. Team Goatcher Racing is where we are putting those ideas into practice, in public, with a team that shares the ambition.

Together We Win is the team's creed. For Switchpoint, it is also the right description of a sponsorship: we win when the team wins, and the sport wins when its teams are presented at a professional standard.

What this means for riders and families

For riders, especially juniors, a professional profile with verified results is a genuine career asset. It is something they can send to a prospective sponsor, a parts supplier or a series organiser. For families, who carry so much of the cost and effort of racing, it is a way to see their rider's progress recognised properly.

What this means for sponsors

For the businesses that back the team, the platform turns sponsorship into something visible and measurable. Each partner has its own page, its products appear in race coverage and stories, and results give a clear reason to engage with the team's audience throughout the season. The partners page lists more than twenty businesses on the team's skis, and we are proud to be among them.

What this means for the wider sport

Every racing organisation faces versions of the same challenges, from a two-rider family team to a full series operator. The approach we have taken with Team Goatcher Racing, structured results, rider profiles, partner pages and search-ready news, can be applied across the paddock. We cover the wider sector on our page for AI software for motorsport, and we are keen to talk to teams, series and promoters who want to lift their own standard.

What comes next

The 2027 season starts in April with Wild West Watercross Round 1 at Lake Buena Vista. Between now and then the platform will keep growing: more results added as they are verified, more rider stories, and new tools for the team and its partners. Over the season we expect to explore features such as faster results publishing on race weekends, richer rider histories over multiple seasons, and sponsor reporting that shows partners the reach their support delivers.

Whatever we add, the principles stay the same: accurate data, a great experience on any device, content that people can find, and a platform that makes the team easier to follow and easier to back.
